Articles publishing's guidelines

    It is an essential requirement that at the time of submission the articles comply with the parameters established by Guarracuco journal:

  • Text: Be written in Word format, in Times New Roman font size 12, with line spacing 1 1/2, paginated, on letter size paper and with margins of 2.5 cm. The footnotes should be in Times New Roman 10 and single space.
  • Extension: Have an extension between 7,000 and 10,000 words maximum, including abstracts and keywords, bibliography and footnotes, among others.
  • Resumen/Abstract: Have a summary of the article in Spanish, no more than 120 words, and its respective translation into English. The title of the text must be presented equally in both languages.
  • Keywords: Have between three and six keywords that identify the article, both in English and in Spanish. The keywords must reflect the content of the document, and therefore it is necessary to indicate the precise topics of the article, rescuing the areas of knowledge in which it is registered and the main concepts. It is recommended to review the terms and hierarchies established in the bibliographic listings (THESAURUS), and search for correspondence between titles, abstracts and keywords.
  • Citations and bibliography.
  • APA Standards sixth edition.
  • Attach in a different file the data of the author, title of the article and institutional affiliation.

The authors and / or holders of the accepted articles authorize the use of the patrimonial rights of the author (reproduction, public communication, transformation and distribution) to the University Corporation of Meta, to include their written or article in the Guarracuco magazine (printed version and electronic version).

In case an article wants to be included later in another publication, the data of the original publication must be clearly indicated in the Guarracuco magazine, with prior authorization of the editorial team of the journal.
